Where do you ship?

We ship across the European Union — including Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Germany and other EU countries.

local_shipping

How soon will my order be sent?

Every piece is handmade to order, so we need 3–8 business days to make and send it.

local_shipping

How long does delivery take?

After your order is sent: 1–5 business days to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and 3–8 business days to Poland, Germany and the rest of the EU.

local_shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout, based on your country and the size of your order. Bigger orders cost more to ship, as in some cases we send them in 2 separate parcels to keep your products safe. The largest orders ship for free — your cart shows how much more you need to qualify.

Will it come to my home or to a parcel locker?

We choose the fastest and most affordable option for your address — either your home or the nearest parcel locker or pickup point. Either way, you will get tracking details by email.

local_shipping

How can I track my order?

As soon as your order is on its way, we email you a tracking number. With most couriers you can also redirect the parcel to another pickup point using their app.

Will I pay customs or import fees?

No. We ship only within the EU, so there are no customs charges or import duties.

local_shipping

How can I pay?

All major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna and more. You will see all available options at checkout.

local_shipping

Can I order larger quantities, for example as gifts or for an event?

Yes, gladly. Larger orders are made in small batches and may take a little longer — just write to us at info@glowbaltic.com and we will keep you posted.

Returns & refunds

undo

Can I return an item?

Yes. You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return, for any reason. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, together with your receipt or proof of purchase.

undo

How do I start a return?

Write to us at info@glowbaltic.com. Once your return is approved, we will send you instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

undo

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping is paid by the customer — unless the item arrived damaged, faulty or wrong. Then it is on us.

undo

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

We are sorry! Please email info@glowbaltic.com within 14 days of delivery with a few photos of the item and the packaging. You can then choose what suits you best: a full refund or a replacement sent to you.

undo

When will I get my refund?

Once we receive and check your return, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may need a few extra days to show it.

undo

Are there items I cannot return?

A few items cannot be returned: custom or personalised orders, sale items and gift cards. For hygiene and quality reasons, we also cannot accept products that have been opened or used and cannot be resealed — for example, pearl wax once its pouch has been opened. If you are unsure about a specific item, just ask us before returning it.

undo

Can I exchange an item?

The quickest way is to return the item you have and place a new order for the one you would like.

Our candles

local_fire_department

What are your candles made of?

Natural waxes and wicks. Our standalone candles are made from rapeseed wax, and our candles in containers use a rapeseed and coconut wax blend.

local_fire_department

How long does a candle burn?

It differs from candle to candle — it depends on the size and the number of wicks. You will find the details in the description of each candle: just click on a candle in the shop and read the text next to its photos.

local_fire_department

Are the candles scented?

Some of them are. If a candle comes in scents, you will see a scent option to choose from when you click on it in the shop — right next to the colour and size. If there is no scent option, the candle is unscented.

local_fire_department

What is pearl wax?

Pearl wax comes as loose, sand-like granules in a resealable pouch. Pour it into a holder, set a wick or tealight in place and light it — no melting needed. When it runs low, simply top it up.

local_fire_department

Can I reuse the candle container?

Yes! When your candle has finished, remove the leftover wax — the easiest way is to put the container in the freezer for a little while, and the wax will pop right out. Then use it as a small bowl for rings, keys or other small things. Soon you will also be able to have your GlowBaltic container refilled with fresh wax — so your favourite piece can glow again.

Will Limited Edition candles come back?

Limited Edition candles are seasonal and made in small batches, so they are available only while stock lasts. Some designs may return in a new season — but we cannot promise it. Missed a design you loved? Write to us at info@glowbaltic.com — we can often make it for you as a special order. Please note that a special order costs more than the original listed price.

local_fire_department

Why does my candle look a little different from the photo?

Every candle is finished by hand, and natural wax has a character of its own. Small differences in colour, texture or surface are normal and make each candle unique.

Candle care & safety

shield

How should I light my candle the first time?

Let the first burn last until the melted wax reaches the edges across the whole surface. This helps the candle burn evenly every time after.

shield

Should I trim the wick?

Usually there is no need — your candle arrives with the wick already trimmed to the right length. If, after a few burns, the wax level goes down but the wick stays long (the flame gets tall or starts to flicker), blow the candle out, let it cool, and trim the wick to about 5 mm. A short wick gives a calm, clean flame.

shield

How long can I burn it at once?

We recommend no more than 4 hours at a time. Let the candle cool down before lighting it again.

shield

What are the most important safety tips?

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, drafts and anything that can catch fire, and always place it on a heat-resistant surface — a coaster works perfectly.

shield

My candle is burning a hole down the middle. Why?

This is called tunnelling and usually happens when the candle is blown out too early. Next time, let it burn until the melted wax reaches the edges.

Coasters, bowls & holders

spa

What is mineral resin?

A strong, stone-like mineral material with a soft, matte finish. We use it for our coasters, bowls, candle holders and vases.

spa

Can I put hot drinks on the coasters?

Yes, our coasters are made for everyday cups and mugs. Please avoid putting hot pans or pots straight from the stove on them.

spa

Can I use the bowls for food?

Our bowls are decorative — perfect for keys, jewellery, bath salts and other small things, but not meant for food.

spa

Which candles fit your candle holders?

Every candle and every candle holder has its size listed on its own page — just click on it in the shop and choose a size to see the exact measurements. Compare the two, and the rest is up to your taste: mix, match and pair them however you like best.

spa

Why are no two pieces exactly the same?

Everything is finished by hand, so each piece has small differences in texture and tone. That is what makes it yours.

Cleaning & care

eco

How do I clean my coasters, bowls and holders?

Wipe them with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Please do not soak them, put them in the dishwasher or use harsh cleaners.

eco

How do I remove candle wax from a holder or coaster?

In most cases it is easy: let the wax cool completely, then gently lift it off and wipe the surface with a soft cloth. If the wax is stubborn, place the piece in the freezer for a little while — the cold makes the wax shrink and harden, so it comes off easily.
