Bring a clean, vertical line to your table with our Adata candle. Hand-poured in Lithuania from rapeseed wax, this tall standalone taper has no container and no bowl — just a slender, gently tapered stick candle in a soft ivory tone. The natural wick sits centered and pre-trimmed, so it's ready to light straight away, and the narrow profile makes it easy to group several together for a fuller table display.
A little detail that makes every table feel more special.
Slender taper silhouette
A fine, elongated line rather than a bulky pillar shape, built to stand tall on its own.
Rapeseed wax
A plant-based wax chosen for a clean, steady burn with minimal soot.
Hand-poured wax
Poured individually in small batches, so subtle surface variation is part of the handmade character.
Fits standard candlestick holders
Sized for most taper-style holders (kept generic — no specific product named).

Materials & care
Rapeseed wax for solid candles (POLYCERIN)
Our standalone candles are poured from high-quality POLYCERIN rapeseed wax — a carefully selected blend of hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated rapeseed oil, purpose-built for freestanding candles. It's a biodegradable, non-toxic wax made from rapeseed grown in Europe. The product is not classified as hazardous under Germany's Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), and the raw materials used in production comply with REACH requirements — either registered or exempt from registration.
This wax is firmer than soy wax, making it ideal for freestanding candles without a container, and its burning characteristics resemble those of conventional paraffin candles. It offers excellent scent retention and creates a beautiful, porcelain-like surface.
Manufacturer: TH. C. TROMM GmbH, Germany.

Usage & instructions
Usage & instructions
How to use and care for your standalone candle safely.
About your candle
- These are standalone candles, such as long thin tapers, pillars and small shaped candles, that burn without a container, so they need a proper holder.
- Always use a stable, heat-resistant holder that fits the candle snugly and holds it upright. Standalone candles can drip, so choose a holder with a drip tray or stand it on a heatproof dish.
- Protect your surfaces from heat and wax. Do not place directly on or under wooden or other heat-sensitive surfaces without protection.
Getting started
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn for a steady, even flame with less smoke.
- Stand the candle upright and level so it burns evenly and does not drip to one side.
- Thin and shaped candles burn faster and can burn unevenly, so keep a close eye on them, especially towards the end.
Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it within sight at all times.
- Keep away from draughts, which make thin candles gutter, smoke and drip.
- Keep away from anything flammable such as curtains, books, bedding and decorations.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not move or carry the candle while it is lit or while the wax is molten.
- Stop burning before the flame reaches the holder or the last of the candle (about 2 cm for tapers), to avoid overheating the holder or surface.
Putting it out and storing
- Extinguish with a snuffer, or by dipping the wick. Avoid blowing it out, which can spatter hot wax, and never use water.
- Let the candle cool completely before moving it.
- Store flat or upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, as tapers can bend or soften in heat.
