A wide, low candle with real presence on a table. The Duet candle in container is a rapeseed and coconut wax blend poured directly into a fully fluted mineral resin container, fine vertical ribbing wrapping the entire exterior and catching light differently from every angle. Available in two sizes — the smaller carries two wicks, the larger three — each set evenly across the surface for a broad, even pool of light rather than a single central flame.
Fully fluted exterior
Fine vertical ribbing wraps the entire container, catching light as you move around it.
Rapeseed & coconut wax blend
A plant-based blend chosen for a clean, steady burn.
Hand-poured wax
Poured individually in small batches, so subtle surface variation is part of the handmade character.
Reusable container
Once the candle's spent, the fluted piece remains behind as a standalone catchall or display bowl.

Materials & care
Materials & care
We pour our candles from a sustainable rapeseed and coconut wax blend — a natural, gentle alternative to soy wax. This wax contains no GMOs, synthetic additives, or palm wax, and is vegan-friendly since it contains no beeswax and isn't tested on animals. It's biodegradable, produced within the European Union, and offers excellent scent throw along with quick setting. Thanks to minimal wick char, the candle burns cleanly and evenly.

Usage & instructions
Usage & instructions
How to use and care for your container candle safely.
About your container candle
- These candles are set inside a vessel, and in some cases that vessel is one of our coasters. Depending on the piece, they are made either from poured melted wax or from loose wax pearls.
- The vessel becomes hot in use. Always stand it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and use a coaster or heatproof mat. Do not place it directly on or under wooden shelves, furniture or other heat-sensitive surfaces.
Getting started
- On the first burn, let the wax melt fully across the whole surface (about 1 to 2 hours) to prevent tunnelling and help it burn evenly.
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn and keep it centred, so the vessel heats evenly and does not overheat on one side.
- If your candle is made from wax pearls, keep them level and below the rim, and do not overfill. Only top up with more pearls once the candle is completely cool and the wick is exposed, never onto a lit or molten candle.
Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it within sight at all times.
- Do not touch or move the vessel while it is lit or while the wax is molten, as it will be hot.
- Keep away from draughts, and away from anything flammable such as curtains, books and decorations.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop burning once about 1 cm of wax remains, to avoid overheating the vessel.
Putting it out and storing
- Extinguish with a snuffer, or by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straightening it. Avoid blowing it out, which can spatter hot wax, and never use water.
- Let the candle cool completely before moving or relighting it.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to protect the colour and scent.
