Top up your favorite pearl wax candle or fill a candlestick holder built for it — the Sand-Pearl wax comes as loose, ready-to-use granules in a resealable kraft pouch, so there's no melting or pouring required. Simply fill your holder to the level you want, set a wick or tealight in place, and light. The resealable pouch keeps the rest fresh and contained between uses, so nothing spills loose in a drawer or cupboard.

Sand/pearl-textured candle wax
This is a loose, sand- or fine-powder-textured candle wax that lets you prepare a candle without melting wax or needing special melting equipment. The product is made on a palm wax and stearin base, and works with both cotton and wooden wicks. Simply pour the wax into a suitable heat-resistant container, insert a wick — and the candle is ready to use.

Usage & instructions
Usage & instructions
How to get the best from your candle, and how to burn it safely.
How to use
- Choose a container that's heat- and flame-resistant.
- Pour the sand wax into the container.
- To help the wick stand more steadily, you can gently press the wax down.
- Insert a wick sized to fit the container's diameter.
- The candle is ready to use — no pre-melting of the wax required.
Reuse
As the candle burns, only the wax immediately around the wick melts. Once the flame is extinguished, the melted portion cools and hardens again — it can be removed along with the spent piece of wick, while the remaining clean, unburned sand wax can be used again. Simply insert a new wick into the leftover wax and shape a new candle.
Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it within sight at all times.
- Always burn on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the candle directly on or under wooden shelves, furniture or other heat-sensitive surfaces without a coaster or heatproof mat.
- Keep away from draughts, open windows and fans, which cause smoking, sooting and uneven burning.
- Keep away from anything flammable, such as curtains, books, bedding and decorations.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not move or carry the candle while it is lit or while the wax is still liquid.
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop burning once about 1 cm of wax remains, to avoid overheating the vessel.
Putting it out and storing
- Extinguish with a snuffer, or by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straightening it again. Avoid blowing it out, which can spatter hot wax, and never use water.
- Let the candle cool completely before relighting or moving it.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to protect the colour and scent.
